Review - Tesco Finest 4 All Butter & Cherry Scones

These cherry scones were so damn delicious.
The cherries were the star because they were juicy and tasted like sweetened fresh cherries with tartness.
I ended up eating two scones without needing clotted cream.
After reading the label I discovered that sour cherries were used which really takes it to another level.

[Review] Kinder Pengui Cherry

Discovered the Kinder Pengui Cherry so decided to get it because I love cherries.
It is similar to a Kinder Milk slice except that it is covered in dark chocolate.
Upon opening the wrapper, the inside was a bit sticky but the bar was intact.

Taking a bite, the filling was fluffy in the middle just like the milk filling you get for the Kinder Milk slice and in the middle was delicious cherry filling which was similar to thick jam.
The chocolate was good too and there was a thin layer of cake on the top and bottom too which can be seen on the pic.

Overall, a delicious treat.
Other flavours like coconut are available according to posts on the internet.

The other Kinder treats found at the store.

[Review] Tesco Pitted Dark Sweet Cherries 480G

I love cherries so these pitted dark cherries were a godsend in the sense that they were pitted and obviously ready to eat without washing.
They make great treats in the summer as they are 100% natural according to the label without any sweeteners yet naturally sweet.

If you eat them frozen, the texture is not rock hard but slightly soft compared to other frozen berries and fruit.

As well as eating them from frozen, they were great for blending milkshakes.

The fresh strawberries and frozen cherry milkshake was just as good as I had wanted so I would definitely get this product again.

[Muller Corner] Red Cherry

As always Muller does deliciously creamy yoghurt, this time I had cherry which was not as tart as I expected and it was like sweet cherry puree because the cherries were pretty much blended.

Piacelli cherry compote

I got them because I love cherries, but I was really annoyed I could not unscrew the lid!
(In the end I had to get someone else to open it!)
This is an Italian product called Piacelli cherry compote.
I couldn't quite understand why it was called compote because the liquid was not really syrup, it was natural cherry juice which I drank as well.
Each cherry was plump,  juicy just like a fresh cherry but softer.

As well as cherries, they have peaches, plums and apricots in this series.

Cherry Ripe by Cadbury

Tried the Cherry Ripe which is Australian, I was attracted to it because I love coconut and cherries, however it was slightly different to how I expected it to be.
It tasted the same as a Bounty bar and there were no cherry pieces, which I was hoping to find.
The filling in the middle was just pink.

Cherry Ripe is a brand of chocolate bar currently manufactured by Cadbury Australia. Introduced by the Australian confectionery manufacturer "MacRobertson's" in 1924, it is now Australia's oldest chocolate bar and is one of the top chocolate bar brands sold in the country.

It consists of cherries and coconut coated with dark chocolate.

Casino Clafoutis cerises

Clafoutis is a baked French dessert of black cherries arranged in a buttered dish and covered with a thick flan-like batter. The clafoutis is dusted with powdered sugar and served lukewarm.

Before I found this info from the internet I did not know it was served warm so I ate it straight from the fridge.
Now it seems to make sense that it is in a foil dish!
It would have probably tasted nicer sweet! What a waste!

The Collective Pomegranite and Cherry yoghurt

Pomegranite and Cherry yoghurt by The Collective - great dairy.

Nice simple seethrough tub that shows the yoghurt and fruit inside.

The yoghurt had a nice natrual tart taste and the cherry was not overly sweet.
However I only found one piece of cherry in the tub, and for the pomegranites there were a few pieces with seeds inside.
I would really like to the limited edition Christmas pudding yoghurt.

Russian Fudge yoghurt which I also tried

Nectar berry drinks

There are three flavours: Sour cherry, Clear blueberry nectar, and Strawberry and apple.

These drinks are from serbia, and they all taste sour with a strong apple juice base.

McDonalds: Croatia

I didnt see anything interesting on the Croatian menu for Mcdonalds, but the desserts look good especially the Cherry pic and the sundae above which has chocolate sponge base, layered with icecream and caramel sauce.
