Ainsley Harriott Moroccan Fusion With Cous Cous Cup Soup

Instant lamb flavoured soup with cous cous.

I loved the soup especially the cumin and spices, the taste of lamb was faint and not gamey at all.
The cous cous tasted nice and you need to wait a few minutes for it to become soft.

Nile spice couscous lentil curry soup

From the Nile spice couscous soup range, I have only tried the minestrone one and the Lentil curry.
The minestrone flavour was not that strong hence the couscous had some strange taste to it.
Anyway, the curry in this one was strong which took away the strange taste.
There were generous amounts of lentils in it.
If you prefer the couscous texture soft, then stand it for an extra few minutes.

Tipiak couscous with lemon and mint

Tasted better than Couscous with spices.
The sourness of the Lemon was at maximum strength, and the mint tasted like fresh mint leaves mixed in.

Tipiak couscous with spices

I love couscous but it is so damn rare in HK!

You have to go to expensive restaurants or buy the uncooked version.
I tried buying uncooked couscous pearls last time, but the couscous would not soften and the texture was nothing like the ones I have tried after I cooked it!

The one I got this time was INSTANT couscous, you just add water and let it stand for 5 minutes.
Best of all, they have different flavours.
The one I tried this time was the Middle Eastern spices. I also got the LEMON AND MINT.
When I opened the packet, I could smell strong cumin and caraway seeds.
After pouring hot water and letting it stand for five minutes, the magic couscous was ready to eat.
The taste was the same as Nissin's curry pot noodles.
The softness of the couscous depends on how much water you put.
